Bangladesh Young Ophthalmologists Society was established on 17th September 2020 when a few promising young ophthalmologists felt the need to fill the void present in our country for a society catering solely to the need of young ophthalmologists. BYOS will allow young practitioners to voice their concerns and get guidance for training and learning opportunities to build successful and balanced careers with clinical, research and academic works. BYOS also aims to act as a bridge between the senior leadership and the young ophthalmologists.

Key Goals for BYOS:

  1. To bring all young ophthalmologists of Bangladesh under one umbrella.
  2. Giving the young ophthalmologists a platform to show-case their works.
  3. Collaborate with National and Supra-National YO societies to learn and share knowledge and skills.
